Teaching Assistant - ref. n17562903
We require an energetic and committed NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant to play a key role at Bromley High School.
This is a great opportunity to join a warm and supportive community in an outstanding school and benefit from further training and development opportunities that we can offer you.
You will support teachers in the classroom and ensure all pupils are appropriately supported in their learning and wellbeing. This will involve actively supporting all pupils in class, as well as during extracurricular and co-curricular activities, unstructured play times, and whilst on trips.
You will also provide support with additional learning sessions/interventions as directed by teachers and the SENDCo.
This is a full-time role with an 8am - 4pm working pattern for 37.2 weeks per academic year, which includes all term days plus some additional days to be worked during school closure periods.
Relevant experience of supporting children in an educational establishment/setting is essential, as is the ability to establish positive relationships with children.
Excellent experience of delivering phonics and reading interventions is equally important.
