Hays are currently recruiting for a leading service provider based in Darlington who pride themselves on delivering cutting-edge solutions that drive success for their clients.
What You'll Do:
- Manage and consolidate financial statements for our diverse group of companies.
- Analyse financial data to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Conduct financial audits and prepare detailed reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth.
- Providing advice on technical accounting areas including analysis of the impacts of developments and changes in GAAP.
- Assisting with group taxation affairs including year-end tax accounting, corporation tax compliance and maintenance of the group tax risk register.
What the client is looking for:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
