Case Assessment Officer
We have an opportunity to join our team in the role of Case Assessment Officer within the File Preparation Unit, Crime & Justice Department.
The main requirement of the role is to provide a quality assurance review on the case file material, ensuring compliance with the National File Standard. Responsible for processing crime cases for digital submission to the Crown Prosecution Service and Magistrates Court for first appearance and track cases post first hearing dealing with requests for further information, throughout all stages of the Criminal Justice System, including trial and/or sentence in the Magistrates or Crown Court.
The successful candidate will have previous experience or knowledge of the Criminal Justice System together with excellent communication skills and previous experience in the operation of computers Microsoft and database systems. The post holder will be organised and self-motivated, flexible and be able to work on own initiative with minimum supervision.It is also important to be able to prioritise your own workload to meet deadlines.
