Senior Performance Marketing Manager

Hammersmith, London - Hybrid (2 days in office)

Contract: Full-time (5 days a week, Mon–Fri, 9:00am–5:30pm)

Salary: Competitive/ dependent on experience

Are you a data-driven, AI-curious marketer with a creative edge? We're looking for a Senior Performance Marketing Manager to supercharge growth across our portfolio of lifestyle and gifting brands, someone who doesn’t just optimise campaigns, but leverages the latest tools, including AI, to spot patterns faster, work smarter, and scale success.

Our expanding group of award-winning brands has been established for over 30 years and consists of multiple e-commerce platforms. Our vision is to provide the best service to customers during key events in their life. We believe that their shopping experience as they navigate those big, once-in-a-lifetime milestones should be exciting, positive and special; we help them make memories.

We started as the home of wedding gift lists, but now The Cambium Group encompasses so much more, supporting customers through life’s milestones every step of the way. Through our flagship brands The Wedding Shop, The Wedding Present Company, and Prezola, we help engaged couples build their dream gift lists with an obsessive focus on gold star customer service, from our luxury showrooms to our cutting-edge tech platforms.

Backed by long-term investors Phoenix Asset Management, and with a focus on innovation and digital marketing, we’ve expanded into new markets too, bringing wedding planning platform Rock My Wedding into the group, launching lifestyle destination The Homeware Outlet, and most recently, revolutionising the baby gifting market with LittleList.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, commercially minded environment and can blend strategic thinking with hands-on execution. This is a group-level role, giving you the opportunity to work across a variety of brands, customer segments, and campaign styles.

You’ll report into the Group Marketing Director and collaborate closely with brand managers, content teams, designers, and external media partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement performance marketing strategies across Meta, Google, Pinterest, and other relevant platforms, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives.
  • Manage, monitor and optimise paid media campaigns to drive improved conversion rates, customer acquisition, and return on investment (ROI).
  • Leverage SEO best practices to support long-term organic growth, including keyword strategy, on-page optimisation, technical SEO collaboration, and performance tracking via tools like SEMrush or Google Search Console.
  • Use AI tools and platforms to identify performance trends, enhance creative testing, and streamline campaign workflows.
  • Oversee marketing analytics implementation, including GA4 configuration, reporting, and insight extraction.
  • Set up and manage marketing tags and campaign tracking via Google Tag Manager, ensuring accuracy across platforms.
  • Advise on cookie consent compliance and ensure all tracking scripts and tags meet data privacy standards.
  • Support our content security policy as it relates to marketing scripts and third-party tracking – no deep technical experience needed, but we’re looking for someone comfortable researching and advising on best practices.
  • Collaborate with wider marketing, creative and commercial teams to deliver cohesive, integrated campaigns that support brand and revenue goals.
  • Analyse campaign and SEO performance data to extract insights, identify opportunities, and refine strategies accordingly.
  • Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing, SEO, and AI trends, proactively testing new tools and methods to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Support budget planning and oversee efficient allocation of media spend and resources.
  • Prepare clear and insightful performance reports and presentations for key stakeholders, highlighting results, learnings, and recommendations.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in performance or digital marketing, with a proven ability to drive measurable results.
  • Demonstrable success in planning, executing, and optimising multi-channel campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Google, and Pinterest.
  • Experience in implementing and optimising SEO strategies (on-page, off-page, and technical) to support brand visibility and long-term acquisition.
  • Strong working knowledge of GA4 and SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Google Search Console, with experience in data interpretation and reporting.
  • Proficient in Google Tag Manager, including setting up tags, triggers, and variables to support accurate marketing measurement.
  • Awareness of cookie consent regulations and experience ensuring marketing activity is compliant with privacy requirements.
  • Experience using AI tools or automation platforms (e.g. ChatGPT, Jasper, AdCreative, Phrasee, or similar) to improve performance workflows, uncover trends, or support ideation.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing channels including paid search, paid social, SEO, and display advertising.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Confident communicator with outstanding written and verbal presentation skills.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with other key tools (e.g. Meta Ads Manager, SEMrush) is a plus.
