Location: LiverpoolSalary: £45,000 - £55,000 per year (DOE) + Bonus
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager for a newly established children’s home in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape a brand-new service, leading the creation of a nurturing and professional environment for both staff and young people.
Our Ideal Candidate:We are looking for a Registered Manager with experience managing a EBD/LD home for children or an ambitious Deputy Manager ready to take the next step in their career. You should have a proven track record of delivering excellent care and meeting high standards in a residential setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards and Children’s Homes Regulations.Create a supportive, therapeutic environment where young people can thrive.
Recruit, train, and develop staff, fostering a positive and proactive team culture.
Build strong relationships with families, carers, and professionals to support each child's unique needs.
Oversee safeguarding practices and ensure compliance with all legislative requirements.
Manage placements and ensure all care packages are relevant, responsive, and effective.
Ensure the home is well-maintained, compliant with health and safety standards, and financially sound.
About You:
Experience: Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children’s residential home, ideally with a focus on learning disabilities.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.Commitment: Strong passion for delivering high-quality care and improving outcomes for young people.
Qualifications: A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Children and Young People’s Residential Management) qualification is a bonus but not essential. You must however have supervisory or management experience to meet OFSTED regulation requirements.
