Mansfield - Healthcare Assistant / Psychosocial Practitioner prison
About the role
You will be expected to deliver a comprehensive medical service to the male inmates, such as:To carry out health assessments, to deliver structured, evidence-based psychosocial interventions (one-to-one and group sessions).To work collaboratively with prison staff, healthcare teams, to maintain accurate records and contribute to regular case reviews, to maintain care plans and document care.
What you'll need to succeed
Hold current prison security clearance (candidates without valid prison clearance please do not apply as application will not be considered).Relevant Level 3 qualification (e.g., Health & Social Care, Counselling, Psychology, Substance Misuse) or equivalent experience.Experience working with individuals affected by substance misuse.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.What we offer
