Job Description
Working with a team of dedicated professionals, you'll be driving the business strategy in DACH cluster (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) across both existing (World Food) and new launch categories. Your remit is to manage and grow existing in-market distributors and establish new relationships to drive new brands to the DACH retailers.You will be responsible for prioritising opportunities amongst your markets, customers and brands.
Your day-to-day activities will include developing joint annual plans with your distributors, tracking progress against the plan, and ensuring pricing structures are implemented correctly. Responsible for all systems, processes and housekeeping related to your customers, you will contribute to the wider team success with input into the European strategy and execution.
- The Successful Applicant
A successful DACH Regional Sales Manager will have:
- Direct experience of managing distributors
- Fluent / Business German
- Strong understanding of the German distribution and retail market
- Demonstrable experience in Sales /Account Management/ Business development in FMCG
- Able to work independently with support of the wider team and access to a best-in-class training
- Financial understanding including assessing value chains
- At ease with sales data analysis and systems
- Ability to travel to the DACH regions on a monthly to bimonthly basis
