This stellar international law firm has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Residential Conveyancer / Conveyancing Executive / Chartered Legal Executive to join their Real Estate team in Bristol or Reading on a permanent basis. This diverse and dynamic role involves working across all areas of plot conveyancing for some of the UK's leading housebuilders.

It's an exciting and challenging position for an experienced conveyancer who thrives in a supportive environment and enjoys working with ambitious clients who have high expectations. You will work closely with clients, acting for them on the sale of their new build plots, some of which will involve purchasing schemes, and you will carry out a full range of conveyancing requirements.

The team advise on residential development work, strategic land joint ventures, and consortia arrangements. With years of experience advising residential developers and house-builders, they have built a strong reputation in the residential sector.

Their understanding of the market brings a depth of expertise, making them one of the leading law firms in this field, with their clients including some of the UK's leading housebuilders.

Your new role

You will be a part of the Plots team, which sits within the Real Estate department and works closely with other areas of the business. In addition to plot conveyancing, the team handles site setup matters, section agreements, compliance certificates, and deeds of variation.

The team is based in both Bristol and Reading and candidates can be based out of either location, with home working two days per week (if desired).

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an established Plots Sales or Residential Property Conveyancer. The firm is keen to hear from Licenced Conveyancers, Solicitors or CILEx lawyers, or a senior paralegal with similar experience in residential conveyancing. You will also have:

  • Managed your own caseload with minimal supervision
  • Experience working under pressure and to tight deadlines, while maintaining great attention to detail
  • The ability to work with high volumes at times, without compromising on service
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High levels of commercial awareness, keeping up to date and applying changes and developments in this area of law
Experience in title investigation of purchased properties is desirable but not essential.
