The position requires a confident Engineer who can work to a high standard and on their own initiative and also work as part of a team. Ideally, you will have extensive experience in the installation of vehicle telematics, camera and data systems.
Salary:
- £30,000 to £32,000 basic per annum (dependent on experience) + overtime and bonus with potential to earn in excess of £40,000 per annum.
Your duties will include the installation and maintenance of the following across various types of vehicles:
- Telematics Installations
- MDVR & Vehicle CCTV installations
- Vehicle Safety Equipment
- Visual Warning Equipment
- Sensors and Radar installations
Responsibilities:
- Attending service and installations within our agreed timescales
- Good working knowledge of Telematics and other ancillary equipment
- Proficient using a Phone/iPad to report and capture document and installation data
- The ability to fault find and identify the root cause of any technical issues
- Skills in a field-based customer service environment
- The use of digital multi-meters and testing equipment
- Current legislation relating to vehicle installations and industry Standards.
