The business is going through a fundamental change and constantly adapting and changing how they deliver insurance capabilities to the market and are constantly adapting and enhancing their services.
Requirement
A Senior Engineering Integration Lead to work within the Motor business across multiple teams on the implementation of the future road-maps in order for the business to meet the strategic business goals.Provide Engineering Leadership to a high performing, collaborative team comprising internal and external technical specialists and managers towards a common goal. Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
Provide Technical Leadership across integration's on the motor platform;- Set direction and ensure the Software Engineering practice adheres to the agreed policies, standards and governance
- Deliver Technical Examples, Proof of Concepts and Templates for Teams to adopt, streamlining projects bootstrapping and enabling existing projects to adopt appropriate practices
- Perform Technical Spikes required in applications and Processes for assessment
- Propose new tools and adoption road-map
- Work with suppliers and teams to ensure practices are adopted and feedback included in the practice change
- Work closely with the business area and leadership team to drive progress against the plan and identify any areas where mitigation's or interventions are required
- Effectively manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies and change requests.
- Input into and maintain proactive stakeholder management and stakeholder communications.
- Mulesoft 3.9 and 4.x (self hosted)
- REST / SOAP / RPC in-depth knowledge
- AWS services and patterns
- Full Stack Engineering Thinking
- Implementation of Engineering Best Practices
- Implementation of Observability standards
- Adherence to Security standards
- Experience of 24x7 operational systems as well as high volume trading activity
- Useful knowledge of Oracle and Kafka
