Overview
We are currently recruiting for a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client on a contract basis in Manchester The client is a well-established contractor operating across civils and rail infrastructure projects This role will involve supporting the commercial delivery of key schemes including rail upgrades bridges and structures
Key Responsibilities- Take full commercial responsibility for assigned civils and rail projects
- Manage subcontract procurement tendering and contract administration
- Prepare and monitor project budgets forecasts CVRs and cash flow
- Assess subcontractor applications variations and final accounts
- Ensure cost control risk management and value engineering throughout the project lifecycle
- Liaise with operational and client teams to ensure timely reporting and commercial support
- Attend site meetings and contribute to project planning and commercial strategy
- Produce monthly cost value reconciliation and commercial reports for senior leadership
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on civil engineering and or rail infrastructure projects
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
- Strong understanding of cost management tendering procurement and contract law
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple project packages
