Your new Company
Your new company is a very well established International Lloyds Broker based in the heart of the City of London. Working from their attractive and spacious offices as a Senior Claims Broker you will be the main point of contact when dealing with complex and contentious high-value International Property Claims.
Your new role
In your new role you will be handling international Property claims from cradle to grave. You will be ensuring that performance records are up to date and maintaining accurate records regularly, dealing with incoming correspondence appropriately, developing strong relationships with the market and creating comprehensive claims documents, presenting claims to underwriters, dealing with queries, providing feedback and responding appropriately to clients, insurers and relevant internal departments following up the status of the claim.
You will also be expected to keep clients and insurers informed of the developments of their claims, you will need to be capable of building relationships with clients and key stakeholders, undertaking prompt and accurate processing of collections, fee payments and other relevant data and information on company systems in order to support high levels of client service and enable completion of internal processes.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful you will need extensive Claims experience within the International Property line of business, in-depth knowledge of the Lloyd's London Insurance market, a great knowledge of the Claims handling process and a really strong understanding of the international property market especially including who the main players in the market are and specific territory knowledge (mainly Europe, Latin America and the Middle East) in relation to the International Property class of business.
