Teacher of Music
A secondary school in Basingstoke is seeking a Teacher of Music to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher to inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, fostering a love for music and developing their creative and technical abilities.
The Role:
- Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons across KS3 & KS4.
- Inspire students with a broad and varied curriculum, incorporating theory, performance, and composition.
- Organise and support extra-curricular music activities, including school performances, concerts, and clubs.
- Encourage student participation in practical and digital music-making.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, supporting all learners.
Who Can Apply?
✔️ Qualified Music Teachers (QTS/QTLS preferred).✔️ ECTs qualifying this year looking to start their teaching career in a supportive environment.
✔️ Unqualified teachers with relevant experience in music education may also be considered.
