Job Purpose:

Design, implement, and manage network and AV systems to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of the organisation's network and AV infrastructure. This role involves collaborating with global network teams and external AV vendors to deliver effective solutions while providing technical support and maintaining infrastructure stability.

The Network and AV Infrastructure Support Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organisation's network and audio-visual infrastructure. This includes:

  • Network infrastructure: Collaborating with global network teams to ensure optimal performance, coordinating with vendors for equipment and services, and participating in network planning and design.
  • AV infrastructure: Managing relationships with AV vendors, overseeing system design and implementation, and providing technical support.
  • Project deployment: This includes working with global teams and vendors to plan, design, implement, and hand over projects to operations

Job Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain the organisation’s network and AV infrastructure to support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with global network teams and external AV vendors to deliver project solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Accountabilities:

  • Successful network and AV infrastructure project delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.
  • Ensuring the alignment of network and AV infrastructure solutions with business requirements.
  • Effective collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Proactive identification and mitigation of project risks.
  • Knowledge transfer to operations teams for ongoing support.

We are looking for experience in the following skills:

  • A degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
  • Hands-on experience in Enterprise level network infrastructure and/or with AV Technologies
  • Foundational knowledge of enterprise-level IT and/or AV infrastructure design
  • IT/AV deployment experience

Nice to have:

  • Vendor/Supplier Management
  • ITIL certification
  • CompTIA A+, Avixa CTS or related certifications
  • Project Management experience
