Salary: £26,000 to £32,000 per annum
The Role – Operations Coordinator
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive Operations Coordinator to be at the heart of a dynamic e-commerce business which is enjoying year on year growth.In this hands-on role, you will look after the practical elements of our two Carlisle sites. You will be responsible for ensuring our office and warehouse space are seamlessly managed with all systems and processes running smoothly day-to-day.
You will be highly organised, tech savvy and have a can-do attitude turning your hand to any task required.
This role has the flexibility to be Full Time or Part Time.
What you’ll be doingAs Operations Coordinator you’ll oversee the practical elements that make our e-commerce business run. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Organising all business maintenance needs across two office sites and our 61,000 SQFT fulfilment centre
- Ordering and managing office and warehouse supplies
- Ensure timely delivery of supplies and maintenance, track spending, negotiate cost reductions, and maintain a complete audit trail.
- Prepare spending forecasts for major expenses, updating the Managing Director.
- Ensuring health and safety compliance
- Collate and organising invoices and expenses
- Holiday cover for customer service
- Arranging and co-ordinating internal and external meetings
- Managing & booking Subcontractors
- Attending meetings when appropriate and taking minutes, recording any actions, providing timely follow-ups and chasing people as appropriate
- Handling confidential information with discretion
- Additional duties as required by the business in line with business objectives and needs
- Proven experience as an Operations Coordinator, Office Manager or similar roles
- Strong organisational skills
- Good time management, prioritisation, and multitasking abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A proactive self-motivator, you must be passionate about delivering all tasks to a high standard
- An ability to think strategically and problem-solve independently
- Proactive and flexible with a strong willingness to learn
- Tech savvy with MS Office skills
- Hold a valid UK driving licence with your own transport
