Have a few hours to spare? Looking for work that feels worthwhile?

At Home Instead Exeter, we’re proud to be a local, family-run company making a real difference in people’s lives every day. We're looking for thoughtful, dependable individuals to join our team — people who want to use their time to support older adults in their own homes.

This role isn’t about ticking tasks off a list. It’s about building genuine, lasting connections and providing one-to-one support that’s tailored to each person. Whether it’s preparing a meal, assisting with personal care, having a friendly chat, or helping with everyday tasks — your presence will bring comfort, confidence and companionship.

No experience? No problem.

We provide full, paid training and ongoing support — all you need is a caring nature, a strong sense of reliability, and the desire to make a difference.

What you can expect:

  • Hourly pay from £14.63 to £15.19, including paid holiday
  • Flexible part-time or full-time hours to suit your availability
  • Paid training, development opportunities and real career progression
  • A team that puts people first — both clients and colleagues
  • Time to care properly, with longer visits and no rushed schedules
Please note: A car is essential

As you’ll be visiting clients in their homes across the Exeter area, you’ll need a UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

If you’re looking for something flexible, fulfilling, and rooted in your community, we’d love to hear from you.

Home Instead is the world’s leading provider of non-medical care and companionship services for older people. With minimum visits of one hour, award winning training and an excellent reputation we are immensely proud of the quality of care we provide.

We match our CareProfessional to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enables us to provide personalised support.
