THE ROLE
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics teacher who shares our ambition to improve, grow, and inspire students. You will have high standards and a deep commitment to providing outstanding teaching and learning that leads to excellent outcomes for our students.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for Mathematics, with a clear understanding of what makes teaching truly effective. You will be able to teach across both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging lessons that foster a love of learning.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who values working collaboratively as part of a team, driven by evidence-based approaches to teaching. We welcome applications from candidates of all experience levels, and we are particularly proud of our exceptional support for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).In our most recent ECT inspection report, it was highlighted that our “ECT induction processes are exceptional,” with ECTs being “incredibly well supported not only by those directly involved in the induction process but also by the entire school community.”

Old Buckenham High School is a small yet vibrant school situated in the heart of the beautiful Norfolk countryside. With an idyllic rural location, we are less than 30 minutes’ drive from Norwich, offering the perfect balance of peaceful surroundings and easy access to the city.
Currently, we have around 500 students aged between 11 and 16 years. Our vision is to provide an inspiring, challenging, and inclusive learning environment, driven by high-quality, evidence-based teaching.
