Class 1 Driver

Rapier Employment are working with a well-established, family run national haulier in Witney. They are looking for a Class 1 driver on day shift to support adhoc.
Job role: Class 1 driver - days
Pay rate: £16.00 per hour (06:00-20:00) - £17.50 per hour (20:00-06:00)Shift start: Start times vary between 05:00 - 07:00
Working days: Monday - Friday
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks, record information internally and report any defects
- Ensuring the load is fully strapped down ready to be delivered
- Delivering the product to customer sites ensuring delivery instructions are followed
- Hauling palletised flat-packed goods to various locations across the UK
Requirements:
- Full UK Licence (Cat C+E)
- CPC Card
- Digi Card
- 12 months Class 1 experience
- No more than 9 points on your licence
** Must have at least 12 months of HGV Class 1 driving experience, along with no more than 9 points on your licence. **
