Job overview

We have an exciting opportunity for 3 full-time posts from 6th August 2025 to 5th August 2026 in Undergraduate Medical Education.

It would ideally suit someone currently in a ST post in a Medical or Surgical specialty that is looking for an ‘out of programme experience;’ the Severn Deanery has given permission for this to be recognised from one of their programmes.

It would also suit current F2 doctors with a particular interest in teaching.

You should be self -motivated and innovative to help develop this post, with a particular emphasis on using simulation in clinical teaching.

This post offers the opportunity to become intensively involved in Medical and/or Surgical Education of Medical Students for a period of time whilst maintaining clinical exposure and experience in a supportive educational environment. The prime function of the post holder is as a teacher delivering core content and providing tutoring for medical students in years 3-5 of the undergraduate curriculum of Bristol University.
