Finance Assistant - Part-Time - 3 Year Fixed Term Contract

A prestigious European Bank has a great opportunity for a conscientious new addition to work part-time in a varied role within its Finance department. You will be required to work part time/50% but the Bank is flexible (e.g., a full 2.5 days or every day for 3.5 hours). The Finance team are also prepared to provide training with the finance reporting areas that may not have been previously covered if necessary.

Your duties will cover:

• Accounts payable
• Preparing financial statements (GAAP and IFRS)
• Management reporting
• Corporation Tax computations
• Regulatory reporting (Bk of England, PRA and FCA)
• Assisting with projects

Experience/skill set required:

• This will suit either a Finance student who has completed at least four semesters of their degree and seeking work that will fit around their studies while they complete their course OR an experienced finance/accounting professional with relevant experience gained within banking seeking a long-term part-time role
• Strong Excel skills are essential and SAP experience preferred
• Must be a team player with a proactive attitude for this long-term commitment
