Head of Enzyme Engineering and Biocatalysis

My client is seeking a Biocatalysis and Enzyme Engineering Lead to drive R&D development and optimise enzyme-based processes for sustainability across various sectors.
You will be working directly with the CTO, Head of Bioinformatics and Head of AI.
You will have:
- An extensive and robust background in enzyme engineering, biochemistry, biocatalysis and management
- A specialisation in enzyme technology, with an understanding on the application of AI
- Expert experience in directed enzyme evolution and contributed to the development of an enzyme portfolio for biocatalysis solutions
- Led a team of multidisciplinary scientists (reviews, check ins, direction and budgets)
- Optimised workflow integration for biocatalysis alongside AI team
This client is looking for an individual who has trained at universities and organisations renowned for enzyme engineering and biocatalysis.
This role is based on site with some flexibility in central London
