AMZL is seeking an experienced manager for a fixed term contract (6 months) to support the Electric Vehicles (EV) infrastructure performance team across EU Delivery Stations. The successful candidate will lead the performance metrics and HVE readiness of the EV infrastructure network to ensure reliability as we scale our EV fleet in EU.

It is expected that the candidate will take a leadership role to drive performance improvement of our EV infrastructure network.

As Sr EV Infrastructure Performance Manager, the successful candidate will play an instrumental role in driving EV performance to reach AMZL’s sustainability commitments. They will own the end-to-end definition of sustainable operational standards and develop best practices for infrastructure performance whilst having the opportunity to engage with other functional areas or roles across AMZL such as finance, fleet, strategy, planning, continuous improvement as well as senior leadership.

Key job responsibilities
  • Understand the key aspects of Electrification (EV, Power, HW and SW)
  • Lead data-driven initiatives within the team to ensure we increase efficiencies on consuming external data to build our strategy and to report externally
  • Design, develop and deploy programs to secure the successful performance improvement of the EV infrastructure network
  • Drive strategic conversations with senior leadership to drive the strategy forward and collaborate across all levels of stakeholders
  • Develop processes and mechanisms to ensure scalability of our EVCP network
  • Support and lead pilots to ensure products and programs are ready to scale before moving into production mode
  • Ability to work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical regions• Master's degree in Engineering or similar
  • Previous experience operating as a Program or Project Manager in a high growth, operational and complex business
  • Excellent problem-solving skills in complex environment
  • Proven experience of managing operations and/or program deployment across many stakeholders in a technical environment
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate across all level of organization
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment with little guidance or supervision
  • Proficiency with tools/systems to analyze data including Excel, Access, or other data management systems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills• MBA, MS or MA (Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Mathematics or Equivalent)
  • Experience writing documents on technical requirements for new products, process improvement initiatives and/or design validation plans.
  • The ability to perform complex business case analysis to justify technical decisions and present the justification to management in a high-level review.
