Personal Assistant required for a 9-year-old boy who has Autism who enjoys swimming, walks, the beach and other outdoor activities.

Living in the Bodmin area.

A personal assistant will provide support for him to enjoy his chosen social activities and to gain independence outside of his immediate caregivers.

Rate of pay £11.44 per hour.

Up to 5 hours per week are available, although this is flexible.

Mainly weekend and school holiday availability will be required.

Car driver preferred but not essential.

Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people with special educational needs is essential.

The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All offers of employment will be subject to the successful candidate undertaking an enhanced DBS check; this administration process will be undertaken by Cornwall Council.
