Salary: £85 - £105 Per day
Job Duties:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a school located in Battersea, Greater London. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities.Your main responsibilities will include assisting with classroom activities, helping students with their work, and providing additional support as needed. This may involve working one-on-one with students, preparing resources, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant qualification in education or special educational needs
- Proven experience working with students with learning difficulties
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
A degree in Education or related field is preferred
Experience:
Previous experience working in a similar role within an educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- A comprehensive understanding of different learning styles and strategies to support students
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping students succeed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training in special educational needs
- Experience working with children and young people
Working Conditions:
The role involves working within a school setting, following term-time hours. As a Learning Support Assistant, you may need to adapt to different classroom environments, collaborating with teachers and other staff members to support student learning.
