Job Description- Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
- Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
- Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
- Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management.
- Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts and budgets.
- Collaborate with department heads to validate demand forecast accuracy.
- Work closely with the supply chain to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Use software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Demand Planner should have:
- Proficiency in statistical software and databases.
- Demand Planning experience essential
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Experience in an Manufacturing setting.
- An estimated salary range of £36,000 to £44,000, subject to experience.
