An exciting opportunity for a driven and ambitious Business Development Manager to join a dynamic and rapidly growing property development firm in South Manchester. Due to growing client demand and ongoing success, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an energetic, diligent, career-focused and determined individual to join their dedicated team as a Business Development Manager.

As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with new and existing developer clients, and driving revenue growth. You will work closely with the leadership team to create a strategy that aligns with their company growth goals.

Your insights and initiatives will directly contribute to their success in the competitive property investment market.

Key responsibilities of a Business Development Manager
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks in the property investment sector
  • Opportunity Creation: Develop and implement strategies for sourcing new developer clients and investment opportunities through networking, industry events, and online platforms
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance their reputation and drive repeat business
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling investment proposals to potential clients, highlighting the value and benefits of working with them
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and execute effective sales strategies that align with business objectives
  • Negotiation: Lead negotiations with developer clients and partners to close deals that benefit both parties and align with the company’s vision
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends to provide insights for continuous improvement
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and finance, to ensure cohesive efforts in promoting their investment opportunities
  • Brand: Actively work to promote the company's brand across national and international markets
Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the property investment industry
  • Strong understanding of the property market, investment strategies, and financial analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other business development tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self driven, motivated and proactive mindset

  • Basic salary £50 - £60,000, with £120,000+ OTE
