Job Description
As the Quality Process Improvement Engineer you will be tasked with the following;- Performing measurements on Precision components using GD&T, CMM operation to ensure product specifications are accurate and of the expected standard
- The Programming of the CMM (Calypso & Aberlink)
- Mentor a team of team lab technicians in order to bring them up to speed with the CMM programming/operation.
- Drive continuous improvement using Quality tools to perform investigations (8D, 5Y's, 5S, A3, Fishbone etc.) and ensure the product and process quality is efficient across production.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Quality Process Improvement Engineer must have:
- Right to work within the UK
- Demonstrable experience of CMM Programming and Operation (Calypso/Aberlink)
- Have used techniques such as GD&T to be able to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of quality control systems and methodologies
- The ability to mentor and lead a small team.
- An attractive salary ranging between £35,000 - £47,000 per annum
- 40 hour per week Monday - Friday (Flexible)
