Hourly Rate: £25 - £35 (or call to negotiate)
Location: Middlesbrough - Flexible across various sites

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Health and Safety in delivering high-quality health, safety, and environmental services.
- Promote compliance with health, safety, environmental, and fire safety legislation.
- Develop and implement effective health and safety frameworks and policies.
- Conduct audits and inspections, highlighting good practises and areas for improvement.
- Provide relevant training and communication to colleagues, ensuring everyone is informed and engaged.
- Evaluate external contractors to ensure safe working practises are followed.
What We're Looking For:
- NEBOSH General Certificate and/or NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
- Experience in health and safety, environmental, and fire safety regulations, particularly in housing, repairs, and construction.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess data and provide effective solutions.
- Proven experience in conducting audits and inspections across operational sites.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of managing sensitive discussions.
Your Skills and Qualities:
- A proactive and professional approach to health and safety advisement.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Experience in delivering engaging training sessions to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with compliance systems and technology to streamline processes.
In This Role, You Will:
- Ensure effective governance records are maintained and statutory returns are completed.
- Collaborate in developing and improving occupational health services for employees.
- Maintain confidentiality in all business matters while promoting transparency and safety.
