RSR are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Exeter for a Criminal Justice Casework Coordinator.

As a Case Work Coordinator, you will be expected to hold day to day responsibility for managing referrals, assessing and supporting clients in a way that allows them to maintain accommodation and make positive changes in their life.

This is a part time (30 hrs pw) permanent role, offering a salary of £19,600 (FTE £24,500).

You must posses a full driving license and have access to own car to apply.

Main Duties:

  • Build positive and effective working relationships and agreements with relevant external agencies which will include working closely with criminal justice services.
  • Complete needs assessment/risk assessment for clients leading to the delivery of key elements of support plans which meet individual client need and reduce re-offending.
  • Take part in an out of hours on call system (1 week in 4)
  • Manage the planned and positive move-on of clients through the service, ensuring staff are supported to meet their targets around length of stay.
  • Ensure that organizational administrative systems, including Petty Cash and rent/service charge collection are accurately maintained

Essential Requirements:

  • Understanding of the causes of offending, homelessness and social exclusion and approaches which seek to address these
  • Have full driving license and access to own car
  • Working with people with complex needs and challenging behaviour
  • Working as part of a team in a social or health care setting

Role is subject to DBS check at the relevant level.
