As a HGV Driver, you will be expected to:- Ensuring all orders are delivered to the customers of Sovini Trade Supplies in a professional and efficient manner, meeting and exceeding customer demands at all times.
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Completing warehousing duties as instructed by senior personnel when required.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
- Maintain detailed knowledge of all products and materials (i.e. qualities, uses, sizes, quantities, availability etc.) and to understand what items / building materials are required for both Trade & Retail Customer’s needs.
- Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- To meet appraisal targets and support the delivery and achievement of overall business objectives.

- Adhere with Section 7 of the Health and Safety at Work Act to take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts and omissions.

- Class 2 license and valid CPC qualification.
- Valid HIAB licence.
- Experience of working within a builder’s merchant environment.
- Experience of driving Class 2 wagons and performing multi-drop deliveries.
- Knowledge of legislation, regulations, policies and procedures relevant to logistics and warehouse operations.
- Ability to prioritise and manage workload to meet strict deadlines.
- Self-motivated with enthusiasm, commitment and drive and ability to work under pressure and still produce a high standard of work.
- Good organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Also able to communicate across multiple channels including Microsoft Teams, Face to Face and Email.

- Counterbalance forklift truck license.
- Competitive salary - £34,023.31
- Hours – 45 Hours per week (Monday-Friday Pattern).
