Salary £25,410 - £39,300 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience.
Location-Westbury
Teaching Personnel have an excellent opportunity to work with a Independent special school based in Westbury. The school cater for pupils aged 11-16 who have small group and individualised learning to focus on social and emotional development.
The school are looking for a passionate and dedicated Lead English Teacher to join their dedicated team.
The Job- Lead subject teaching responsibility and ensure all pupils develop their knowledge and skills and make good progress in their learning
- Work with the Head Teacher and Leadership team to deliver a sequenced curriculum which builds knowledge and skills towards agreed end points
- Effectively monitor the progress of each pupil, checking their understanding systematically and effectively, putting in place clearly directed and timely intervention
- Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS/PGCE) preferred but other recognised teaching qualification considered
- Proven experience of teaching English to secondary class/group
- Experience within an SEN setting
- Ability to prepare and deliver appropriate curriculum using a range of teaching styles and methodologies.
- Driving licence and use of own car as may be required to transport pupils
