Rolling Stock Assurance Engineer

You will need experience of rolling stock engineering and or assurance experience This individual must be able to review work instructions and other documentation and compare them to detailed engineering specifications or London Underground standards in a timely manner ignoring extraneous information Must be able to work under time constraints to ensure our Workshops team meet Project deadlines

Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with keen attention to detail at all times This role will need to work closely with LU Central Engineers including Principal Engineers Local Engineering teams Quality and Compliance team members including our document controllers

• Responsible for the delivery of engineering solutions within Workshops for the overhaul of Signals Equipment Rolling Stock Equipment General Engineering
• Review and assessment of work instructions and supporting coaching of colleagues on new improved processes
• Manage the resolution of all technical queries in respect to production compliance project delivery and material procurement
• Develop Bills of Materials in line with customer specifications drawings and LUL standards
• Consult with internal external technical experts as necessary
• Act as single point of contact for customers on technical issues
• Drive efficiency in line with the Maintenance Optimisation Team
• Ensure documentation produced by local manufacturing engineers is reviewed and technical content is assured
