We are looking to employ a Factory Labourer to work in a busy environment in the West of Newcastle upon Tyne.

This is an immediate start for the right person

As an Labourer you will be helping the manufacturing team within the manufacture and packing of Roller Shutter doors inside and outside of the factory.

• Lifting and loading parts
• Lifting and loading doors
• Measure and help cut metal parts accurately
• Maintaining a clean working environment
• General labouring tasks detailed by the Factory Foreman
• Wrap door parts in preparation for dispatch
• Keeping inside and outside yard clean and tidy including offcuts and stillages
• Overtime available at time and a half after 39 hours

• Have previous experience of factory work
• Be capable of working with minimal supervision but willing to follow directions closely
• Be familiar with assembly work, working with large parts
• Be able to lift and load
• Able to undertake training as required.
• Operate as part of an effective team
• Must be able to start at 07.30 a.m.
• Please note that this is a factory labourers position both inside and outside of the building.

This is a temporary role which could be extended for the right person
