As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and objectives. Responsible for the coordination of multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver IT/Software projects of varying size and complexity across a suite of Products and Industry Sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Project Initiation stage, including initiation meetings, customer introductions, resource identification, and scheduling.
- Produce all relevant project documentation, such as the Project Initiation Document, Project Plan, and RAID Log.
- Allocate and manage resources across multi-disciplinary teams and various time zones.
- Monitor project scope, enforce, and manage change control processes.
- Track milestones and coordinate with the Finance department on payment gates and invoicing.
- Manage project risks and issues, analyse potential mitigation plans, and maintain the Project RAID Log.
- Establish and implement a Communication Management Plan, including regular review conversations with customers.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in project management roles delivering complex or multi-site software implementations across various products and industry sectors.
- Strong project management experience with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders effectively, demonstrating diverse influencing skills.
- Proven experience in delivering multiple high-profile projects concurrently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven capability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to lead meetings with customers and internal stakeholders.
