Location: Banbury Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: Up to £45,000 + comms (Dependent on Experience)

Are you a dynamic and results-driven professional with a passion for building relationships and driving business growth? Our Banbury-based manufacturing client are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Sales Manager to join their team and contribute to their success.

Key Responsibilities In this role, you will:

Identify and develop new clients to expand their customer base and drive revenue.
Build strong rapport with clients and maintain ongoing communication to nurture long-term relationships.
Develop new and creative approaches to keep client communications fresh and engaging.
Seek out and act upon potential sales opportunities with a strategic mindset.
Visit clients to establish and maintain strong working relationships, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs.
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the sales function processes.
Develop a thorough understanding of our products to provide informed and tailored solutions to clients.

Ensure compliance with the company's Health & Safety policies at all times.

About You We're looking for someone who:

  • Has a proven track record in sales, with a proactive approach to finding and maximising opportunities.
  • Ideally, you will have worked within manufacturing sales previously. Also, candidates with automotive, medical or utility experience are highly desirable.
  • Candidates with basic engineering / CAD knowledge would be highly desirable
  • The ideal candidate will be happy to travel as needed for client meetings ( mainly throughout the Midlands / North )
  • Excels in building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Is creative and adaptable in communication strategies to suit diverse clients.
  • Possesses a solid understanding of sales processes and products.
  • Is committed to maintaining high standards of Health & Safety compliance.

Due to travel within the role, our client will provide either a company vehicle or car allowance (to be discussed)

The role is a permanent / full time position. Approx. 50 /50 both office based and on the road travel to visit clients. Some weeks you will be out an about more, some are more likely to be office based work.

Our client will also offer WFH flexibility when appropriate.
