Our vibrant Southampton team are looking to recruit a resilient Recovery Coordinator.

In this role, you'll work closely with individuals on their recovery journey, ensuring they receive the right support at the right time. Your ability to treat everyone as an individual, listen attentively, and adapt to different situations will be key.

Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week
Full Time Salary Range: £27,449.52 - £31,529.41 (pro rata for part time hours)

Contract Type: Permanent

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting people from the moment they engage with our services, through treatment, and along their recovery journey.
  • Conducting screenings, assessments, recovery planning, and making onward referrals as needed.
  • Reducing harm related to drugs and alcohol for individuals and the wider community.
  • Promoting involvement from family, carers, and the community.
  • Advocating for access to partnership services and supporting individuals in rebuilding their lives.
  • Leading workshops and groups tailored to the needs of those in recovery, such as anger management, sleep issues, and relationship support.
  • Collaborating with team members to evaluate the progress of participants and refine approaches as needed.

About You:

  • You have a strong understanding of substance misuse and experience in a related field.
  • You’re skilled in leading group work and managing group dynamics.
  • You're an excellent communicator, both in person and in writing, and you’re comfortable with IT systems.
  • You’re proactive, able to work independently, and have strong time management and organisational skills.
  • You have knowledge of mental health interventions and services.
  • You’re a supportive team player with the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of professionals.
  • You understand the importance of information governance and maintaining confidentiality.
  • You’re committed to continuous learning and development for yourself and others.
