Level 1 Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant | Derbyshire (DE72) | £95-£105 per day | Long-Term to Permanent | Immediate Start

Permanent Salary: £23,500 to £24,293 per annum

• Deliver 1:1 and small group support tailored to students' individual learning and developmental needs.
• Assist with classwork and implement targeted interventions to maintain engagement and motivation.
• Support the development of social skills and emotional well-being through positive reinforcement.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning strategies and monitor progress.
• Promote an inclusive environment that fosters independence and builds students' confidence.
• Experience working with secondary-aged pupils with SEN.
• A calm, empathetic approach, with the ability to build strong, trusting relationships with students.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's development and helping them reach their potential.
• Relevant qualifications in education or child development (desirable).
