You’ll have completed or be working towards an NVQ3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Care & Support Assistant to join the team at Maiden Castle House, our state-of-the-art residential and dementia care home in the town of Dorchester, Dorset.- Maiden Castle House "Care South - Care Home Of The Year 2024"

What you will be doing:
- Work alongside a team of Care Assistants to ensure they are supported and have guidance throughout their shift
- Identifying the individual needs and abilities of our residents to allow you to deliver person centred care.
- Supporting residents to help them remain as independent as possible.
- Providing companionship – really getting to know them!
- Act as point of escalation for any incidents or events in the home
- Working in a team to create a co-operative, friendly and welcoming atmosphere around home.
