Prospero Teaching are looking for a Science Teacher for an Ofsted Good secondary school in Islington.The school is a secondary school and sixth form with a supportive and dynamic Science department. Composed of both very experienced, and newly qualified Science teachers. The school is going from strength to strength and providing CPD throughout the year.
This Science teaching role will require you to deliver KS3 and KS4.
The school has a bank of resources to support the successful Science teacher and are open to onboarding ECTs.Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position. Ideally, the school is seeking someone confident in raising attainment, prioritising differentiation, and inquiry-based learning.
They would require a paid trial week, or potentially an interview.C

- Minimum rate of pay: Minimum rate GBP177 per day - GBP242 per day
- Hours - 8:30 am - 3:30pm, plus parents evenings
- QTS or equivalent, ECTs and Over Seas Trained Teachers welcome to apply
- Minimum 1 year SCIENCE teaching experience
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years
