About the Role:
As a Night Support Worker, you’ll play your part in helping people lead fulfilling, dignified lives. Based at our Respite centre in Gloucester and also supporting in Cheltenham and Stroud, you’ll provide excellent care for adults with learning disabilities during the night.Working alongside Respite Coordinators and Respite Managers, you’ll keep an eye on, and support guests’ health and wellbeing, as well as administering medication. Meanwhile, we’ll give you all the support you need to thrive in your role.
With a commitment to quality, you’ll be careful to follow care plans, risks assessments, policies and procedures. You’ll also encourage people to make their own care choices and be as independent as possible. Plus, you’ll spot opportunities to take our service from strength to strength.You’ll be integral to our team, and your contribution hugely valued.
You’ll join us on a shift basis, working waking night shifts. You will be based at one of the following locations but you must be flexible to help out at other locations when required.
Gloucester: Cathedral View, Archdeacon Street, Gloucester, GL1 2QXCheltenham: The Vicarage, 59 Andover Road, Tivoli, Cheltenham, GL50 2TS
Stroud: Longhouse, 6 Whitehouse Park, Stroud, GL5 4LD
