- Establishing and developing a new, innovative children's residential service
- Managing and nurturing a high-performing staff team
- Setting and reviewing ambitious targets for the care team
- Promoting collaborative practices with young people and their families
- Ensuring the highest standards of care and well-being for the children in placement
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in staff supervision and management
- At least 2 years' relevant experience in residential childcare, ideally as a Deputy Manager
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) and Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare
- A full clean driving license
- Proven ability to provide consistent, nurturing care to young people
- Experience working with children displaying challenging behaviours
- Flexibility to cover shifts as needed
