Occupational Therapist - Part Time
What you'll be working: We can be flexible, but you will work a total of 22.5 hours per week. We understand the need for a positive work, life balance and would be happy to discuss flexible / hybrid working for the right candidate What you'll be doing: Provide comprehensive assessment, advice, and treatment of clients following life changing catastrophic injury Maintain a small independent caseload providing Occupational Therapy assessment and therapy for patients with complex rehabilitation needs Provide Occupational Therapy as part of the multidisciplinary team, and be involved in interdisciplinary team service developments, meetings and audit as appropriate Work to develop a neuro technology offering for our clients Engage with solicitors and case managers to monitor and track client progress and outcomes Provide supervision, support and training to junior team members, Therapy Assistants and students as required Maintain client records and collect activity data/statistics in accordance with company policy Work in accordance with the HCPC professional practice, ensuring practice is evidence based and in line with national clinical standards Maintain a professional development portfolio in line with HCPC registration requirements Keep abreast of evidence-based practice in Occupational Therapy through relevant reading, attending in-service training and external courses Be actively involved in research and/or audit activity as directed by the Senior Occupational Therapist A link to the full job description and personal specification is at the bottom of this advert.
What you'll have: A recognised qualification as an Occupational Therapist Current registration with HCPC as an Occupational Therapist Experience of working within a Neurological Care and Rehabilitation setting would be an advantage.
