Multiskilled Plumber

Position: Multi Skilled PlumberLocation: Various Locations
Working Pattern: Full Time (37 hours/week)
Driving Required: Yes
What You'll Do:As a Multi Skilled Plumber, you will be at the forefront of maintaining and refurbishing council homes and public buildings. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out a wide range of plumbing repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Undertaking multi-skilled repairs, ensuring all work adheres to safety and quality standards.
- Operating and maintaining tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Diagnosing issues reported by tenants and coordinating with planners for effective solutions.
- Keeping vehicles clean and secure while using them strictly for work purposes.
- Engaging with internal teams and external clients to deliver top-notch service.
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Essential Skills:
- Time served Plumbing Apprenticeship
- NVQ multiskilling certificate or relevant experience in a multi-skilling role
- 3 years of experience in the building industry
- CSCS card
- Full valid driving licence, CPC licence, and Tachograph licence
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Desirable Skills:
- Hiab Certificate
- Experience with the maintenance of council housing and public buildings
- Familiarity with ICT systems, including PDAs
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in high-risk environments
