We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our incredible Supply Chain team in Nottingham.
As a Supply Chain Manager in our dynamic food manufacturing operation, you will be at the heart of ensuring the smooth andefficient flow of goods and materials from start to finish.
Your role will encompass managing all aspects of planning and logistics, overseeing everything from the strategic purchasing ofmaterials to the timely delivery of our high-quality finished products to customers.
With a focus on driving supply chain excellence, you’ll leverage your strategic thinking, leadership, and problem-solving skillsto optimise our operations, build strong supplier relationships, and ensure inventory meets production needs and market demand.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00
Your Duties Will Include:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals
- Optimise inventory levels, lead times, and transportation costs
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
- Collaborate with Commercial teams to forecast demand accurately
- Forecast labour plans to ensure they are reflective of customer demand
- Ensure the departments’ material variances are controlled and continuously improved
- Coordinate transport, warehousing, and distribution activities
- Optimise delivery routes and minimise transport costs
- Work closely with quality control teams to maintain product quality standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and certifications
- Liaise cross functionally to support customer service decisions
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment
- Develop a culture of continuous improvement
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in supply chain management within the food industry
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in supply chain software
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of UK food regulations and industry best practices
