Adecco is proud to represent our client, a dedicated organisation who are a trusted provider of care equipment and are committed to enhancing care and improving lives. They are now seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Warehouse, Logistics & Technical Assistant to join their team in Ipswich!
Position: Warehouse, Logistics & Technical AssistantContract Type: Permanent
Annual Salary: £27,000 - £30,000
Working Pattern: Full Time
Driving Required: Yes - full UK licence
What You'll Do:
As a vital part of our client's operations, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure their warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Efficiently carrying out all warehouse work and supporting delivery drivers with unloading.
- Unpacking goods and organising them for stock or installation/delivery.
- Conducting pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and setting up advanced products.
- Managing goods in queries and overseeing the warranty & returns process.
- Picking orders for installation and delivery while ensuring goods are ready for carriers for the collection time
- Maintaining stock accuracy through regular stocktaking and adjustments.
- Upholding good housekeeping standards in the yard, warehouse, and around company vehicles.
- Adhering to the company's health and safety policy while being flexible to take on a range of tasks.
What We're Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following skills and attributes:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, including stock control
- Administration experience would be advantageous, you must be technically minded and IT savvy
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills that foster collaboration.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities to keep operations on track.
- A practical problem-solving attitude to overcome challenges.
- A positive, present, productive, and persistent approach to your work.
- Flexibility to adapt to various tasks and responsibilities.
