An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced support worker to join our dedicated Gynaecological Out Patient Department at Maidstone Hospital.
This is a busy department, with a varied and wide array of clinics which also offering the opportunity to be involved in supporting and assisting clinical staff in our 2 dedicated minor procedures suites.

Occasional weekend working and cross site cover may be required.
The role exists to provide a multi-skilled worker who supports the Gynaecological outpatients department with clinical and non-clinical practices in order to provide patient-centred care. After appropriate training has been given, the post-holder will undertake a range of delegated duties without direct supervision from a clinician.The post-holder will be involved in the development of other Healthcare Assistants and will be responsible for their own personal and professional development.

Once your pre-employment checks have been completed you will be contacted by Recruitment to arrange your start date which will be in line with one of our Corporate Inductions.
Following your Corporate Induction you will be expected to attend the Trust’s Clinical Induction Programme for Clinical Support Workers (which starts on the first day of employment). The programme is full-time (please contact the CSW Induction Programme Lead if this is going to be problematic:rallen@nhs.net), lasts for two weeks and will involve travelling to both Trust sites.The programme includes 2 supernumerary shifts in the clinical area (an early and a late shift), all of the other days are classroom-based and run from 9am to 5pm
