Cover Supervisor

Full time, term time only (part time hours will be considered)

NJC Scale 9-13 (Actual Salary £22,672 - £24,182)

George Spencer Academy is seeking to appoint an outstanding Cover Supervisor to join our nurturing, supportive team of Academy staff. We are a World Class School with a national reputation for providing high quality education that transforms young people’s lives.

The primary purpose of the role would be to support and supervise students in whole-class groups and to provide an effective learning environment during short term teacher absences. George Spencer Academy has a policy of ensuring that excellent lesson plans and high-quality resources will be available along with support from a culture of high behaviour expectations, a visible Senior Leadership Team and caring Faculty staff.

We would welcome applications from both experienced candidates and those who may be beginning their journey in education as the cover team are supported with bespoke training and CPD to enable them to continually develop and thrive. We have a proven track record of developing dynamic, inspirational teaching staff through our SCITT programme and expertise in coaching and mentoring.
