Freelance Italian Pharmacoepidemiologist

Overview

• Conducting pharmacoepidemiological studies to assess the safety and effectiveness of pharmaceutical products
• Designing and implementing observational studies and analysis plans
• Analysing and interpreting real-world data to inform drug safety and risk management strategies
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide epidemiological expertise and support decision-making
• Generating and presenting epidemiological research findings to both internal and external stakeholders
• Contributing to the development of pharmacovigilance strategies and risk management plans Qualifications
• Advanced degree in epidemiology, pharmacoepidemiology, or a related field
• Proven experience in applying epidemiological methods to pharmaceutical research
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software (e.g., SAS, R, or STATA)
• Strong understanding of real-world evidence (RWE) and observational research methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Italian and English
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment Day-to-day
