Year End/Reconciliations Accountant

• Performing daily reconciliations of cash, bank and other financial accounts.
• Identifying, investigating, and resolving discrepancies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
• Assisting with month-end closing processes and financial statement preparation.
• Maintaining records of financial transactions by establishing accounts and posting transactions.
• Collaborating with the Accounting & Finance team to improve financial procedures.
• Assisting with internal and external audits as required.
• Ensuring compliance with organisational financial policies and procedures.
• Contributing to the achievement of the department's objectives through active participation in team meetings and projects.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Year End/Reconciliations Accountant should have:

• A Qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Proficient skills in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to work to tight deadlines and handle pressure.

• An estimated salary range of 250-300 GBP daily.
