Job Title: Support Worker
Location: Plymouth (PL3) & Brixham (TQ5)
Salary: £29,000 per year (£14/hour + £80 per sleep-in shift)
Social Care & Education are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in care who is passionate about making a real difference in the lives of the individuals they support.
Build and maintain positive, supportive relationships with clients.
Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Offer support during the night, as required.
Help clients engage in community activities and events.
Assist with transportation to appointments and social outings.
Use BSL to communicate effectively with clients who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Maintain open communication with clients and their families.
Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standard of care.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Sleep-ins paid at £80 per night
Permanent full-time and part-time positions available

Due to the nature of the role, Level 2 in British Sign Language (BSL) is required.
Key Responsibilities:
